some people might question the pages reference to "Aryan invaders" given that there is no architectural or documentary evidence to support an aryan invasion. all that can be posited is a common source of some aspects of ancient indian and central asian beliefs

"There is only one divine principle, the many gods are only aspects of that unity."

Rig Veda I.164.46 wrote thousands of years before the birth of Judaism

" Ekam Sat, Vipra Bahudha Vadanti"
God or Truth is One, but learned me describe it by many names

Hindu scriptures state

THERE IS ONLY ONE GOD BRAHMAN AND THAT GOD EXPRESSES ITSELF IN TRILLIONS OF FORMS
and that God is NAME LESS and FORMLESS [nama-roopa]

So one can worship that God as Allah or Jehovah or Jesus or Buddha or Krishna.

Wow! This is very helpful! One of my present students is named Parvati (Shakti/Durga). Now I know her namesake: The Goddess Durga, wife of Lord Shiva. I'll show this to her at the next class.
